Spc. Alain L. Kamolvathin, 21, of Blairstown, New Jersey. Kamolvathin died in Baghdad, Iraq, when he was involved in
a motor vehicle accident. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, New York,
New York. Died on January 16, 2005.

Spc. Spencer T. Karol, 20, of Woodruff, Arizona. Karol was on a mission to observe enemy activity when a command
detonated device exploded. His vehicle was overturned from the force of the explosion and he was fatally injured. Karol
was assigned to the 165th Military Intelligence, V Corps, Darmstadt, Germany. Died on October 6, 2003.

Sgt. 1st Class Paul D. Karpowich, 30, of Bridgeport, Pennsylvania. Karpowich died in Mosul, Iraq, when a suicide
bomber entered his dining facility and detonated an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the Army
Reserve's 2nd Battalion, 390th Infantry Regiment, Webster, New York. Died on December 21, 2004.

Spc. Michael G. Karr, Jr., 23, of San Antonio, Texas. Karr died in Habbaniyah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device hit his armored personnel carrier. He was assigned to the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry
Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. Died on March 31, 2004.

Spc. Mark J. Kasecky, 20, of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. Kasecky died in Al Karmah, Iraq, when his vehicle hit an
improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's Battery C, 1st Battalion, 107th Field Artillery
Regiment, Oil City, Pennsylvania. Died on May 16, 2004.

1st Lt. Jeffrey J. Kaylor, 24, of Clifton, Virginia. Killed in Iraq. He was assigned to C Battery, 39th Field Artillery
Battalion, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on April 7, 2003.

Sgt. Chad L. Keith, 21, of Batesville, Indiana. Keith was on mounted patrol in Baghdad, Iraq when his vehicle drove
past an object that exploded on the side of the road. Keith was assigned to the 2-325th Infantry, Company D, 82nd
Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on July 7, 2003.

CW3 Kyran E. Kennedy, 43, of Boston, Massachusetts. Kennedy died when the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter he was in
was shot down by unknown enemy ordnance in Tikrit, Iraq. He was assigned to 5th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment,
101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 7, 2003.

Sgt. 1st Class Stephen C. Kennedy, 35, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Kennedy died in Balad Ruz, Iraq, when his patrol
was attacked by enemy forces using small arms fire. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 1st Squadron, 278th
Armored Cavalry Regiment, Lenoir City, Tennessee. Died on April 4, 2005.

Staff Sgt. Morgan D. Kennon, 23, of Memphis, Tennessee. Kennon was guarding a bank in downtown Mosul, Iraq
when his position came under rocket-propelled grenade attack. Kennon was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 327th Infantry
Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 7, 2003.

Capt. Christopher J. Kenny, 32, of Miami, Florida. Kenny died in Balad, Iraq, when his military vehicle left the road
and flipped over in a canal. He was assigned to the 4th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Vilseck, Germany. Died
on May 3, 2004.

Spc. Jonathan R. Kephart, 21, of Oil City, Pennsylvania. Kephart died in Baghdad, Iraq, from injuries sustained when
his patrol was ambushed near Baghdad on April 8, 2004. He was assigned to the 230th Military Police Company, from
Kaiserslautern, Germany. Died on April 9, 2004.

CWO Erik C. Kesterson, 29, of Independence, Oregon. Kesterson died when two 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)
UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters crashed in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 9th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment,
101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 15, 2003.

Capt. Humayun S. M. Khan, 27, of Bristow, Virginia. Khan died in Baquabah, Iraq, after a vehicle packed with an
improvised explosive device drove into the gate of his compound while he was inspecting soldiers on guard duty. He was
assigned to Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 201st Forward Support Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, Vilseck,
Germany. Died on June 8, 2004.

Staff Sgt. Ricky A. Kieffer, 36, of Ovid, Michigan. Kieffer died in Baghdad, Iraq, when enemy forces using small arms
fire attacked his unit. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 182nd Field Artillery Regiment
(Multiple Launch Rocket System), Detroit, Michigan. Died on March 15, 2005.

Spc. James M. Kiehl, 22, of Comfort, Texas. Killed in action after his convoy was ambushed in Iraq on March 23, 2003.
He was assigned to the 507th Maintenance Company, Fort Bliss, Texas.

Pvt. 2nd Class Jeungjin Na Kim, 23, of Honolulu, Hawaii. Kim died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when his patrol was attacked by
enemy forces using small arms fire. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 17th Field Artillery, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp
Hovey, Korea. Died on October 6, 2004.

Staff Sgt. Kevin C. Kimmerly, 31, of North Creek, New York. Kimmerly's vehicle was hit by a rocket propelled grenade
while on patrol in Baghdad, Iraq. Kimmerly was assigned to B Battery, 4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment,
Baumholder, Germany. Died on September 15, 2003.

Spc. Levi B. Kinchen, 21, of Tickfaw, Louisiana. A fellow soldier in Baghdad, Iraq tried to wake Kinchen and noticed he
was not breathing. Kinchen was assigned to 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana. Died on August 9,
2003.

Staff Sgt. Lester O. Kinney II, 27, of Zanesville, Ohio. Kinney was killed in an improvised explosive device attack near
Iskandariyah. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 505th Infantry, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on January 27, 2004.

Sgt. William S. Kinzer, Jr., 27, of Hendersonville, North Carolina. Kinzer died in Ad Duluiyah, Iraq, from injuries
sustained when a rocket propelled grenade hit his patrol. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment,
1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on January 26, 2005.

Pfc. David M. Kirchhoff, 31, of Anamosa, Iowa. Pfc. Kirchhoff died in Landstuhl, Germany after he had suffered a
heatstroke in the Iraqi desert on August 8. Kirchhoff was assigned to the First Detachment, 2168th Transportation
Company, U.S. Army National Guard, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Died on August 14, 2003.

Staff Sgt. Charles A. Kiser, 37, of Cleveland, Wisconsin. Kiser died in Mosul, Iraq, when an explosion occurred near
his convoy. He was assigned to the Army Reserve's 330th Military Police Detachment, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Died on
June 24, 2004.

Sgt. Timothy C. Kiser, 37, of Tehama, California. Kiser died in Riyhad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device
detonated near his patrol. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 340th Forward Support Battalion, 40th Infantry
Division, Red Bluff, California. Died on April 28, 2005.

Spc. John K. Klinesmith, Jr., 25, of Stockbridge, Georgia. Klinesmith was last seen wading in the lake on the palace
compound in Al Fallujah, Iraq. A search was launched and Klinesmith's body was discovered at the lake. He was
assigned to Company C, 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York. Died on
June 12, 2003.

Sgt. Floyd G. Knighten, Jr., 55, of Olla, Louisiana. Knighten died in Iraq as a result of a non-combat related cause
while in a convoy from Camp Bilad heading to Camp Pennsylvania. Knighten was assigned to the 1087th Transportation
Support Company, Army National Guard, Fort Polk, Louisiana. Died on August 9, 2003.

Pvt. Joseph L. Knott, 21, of Yuma, Arizona. Knott died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his convoy was attacked by enemy
forces using small arms fire and an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment,
Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on April 17, 2005.

Spc. Joshua L. Knowles, 23, of Sheffield, Iowa. Knowles died in Baghdad, Iraq, when he was hit by a mortar round at a
Baghdad International Airport checkpoint. He was assigned to the 1133rd Transportation Company, Army National
Guard, Mason City, Iowa. Died on February 5, 2004.

Sgt. Rene Knox, Jr., 22, of New Orleans, Louisiana. Knox died in Balad, Iraq, when the vehicle he was riding in
overturned. He was assigned to the 5th Squadron, 7th Cavalry, 3d Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on
February 13, 2005.

Spc. Matthew A. Koch, 23, of West Henrietta, New York. Koch died in Taji, Iraq, from injuries sustained when an
improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. He was assigned to the 70th Engineer Battalion, Fort Riley,
Kansas. Died on March 9, 2005.

Staff Sgt. Lance J. Koenig, 33, of Fargo, North Dakota. Koenig died in Tikrit, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device detonated while he was conducting a dismounted patrol. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 141st
Engineer Battalion, Jamestown, North Dakota. Died on September 22, 2004.

Spc. Martin W. Kondor, 20, of York, Pennsylvania. Kondor died in Baqubah, Iraq when an apparent improvised
explosive device exploded near his vehicle. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment, 1st Infantry
Division, Vilseck, Germany. Died on April 29, 2004.

Army CW4 Patrick W. Kordsmeier, 49, of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Kordsmeier died in Taji, Iraq, when mortar
rounds hit his camp. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 39th Support Battalion, 39th Brigade Combat Team,
1st Cavalry Division, Hazen, Arkansas. Died on April 24, 2004.

Army Capt. Edward J. Korn, 31, of Savannah, Georgia. Killed as he investigated the wreckage of an Iraqi T-72 tank
destroyed by his unit in central Iraq. He was assigned to the 64th Armor, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia.
Died on April 3, 2003.

Sgt. Elmer C. Krause, 40, of High Point, North Carolina. Krause had been unaccounted for since April 9, 2004, when
his convoy came under attack in Iraq by individuals using rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. His remains
were recovered on April 23, 2004. Sgt. Krause was assigned to the Army Reserve's 724th Transportation Company,
Bartonville, Illinois.

Pvt. Dustin L. Kreider, 19, of Riverton, Kansas. Kreider died near Samarra, Iraq during a unit weapon test-firing
incident. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, based in Schweinfurt,
Germany. Died on March 21, 2004.

Pfc. Bradley G. Kritzer, 19, of Irvona, Pennsylvania. Kritzer died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his vehicle hit an improvised
explosive device. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 21st Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
Died on May 5, 2004.

Capt. John F. Kurth, 31, of Wisconsin. Kurth died in Tikrit, Iraq, when his patrol encountered an improvised explosive
device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, based in Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on March
13, 2004.
