Pfc. Leslie D. Jackson, 18, of Richmond, Virginia. Jackson died in Baghdad, Iraq when her military vehicle hit an
improvised explosive device as she was returning to Camp Eagle. She was assigned to A Company, 115th Forward
Support Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on May 20, 2004.

Spc. Marlon P. Jackson, 25, of Jersey City, New Jersey. Jackson died of injuries sustained in Tampa, Iraq when an
improvised explosive device exploded on the road. He was assigned to A Company, 94th Engineer Battalion (Combat)
(Heavy), 130th Engineer Brigade, Vilseck, Germany. Died on November 11, 2003.

Spc. Morgen N. Jacobs, 20, of Santa Cruz, California. Jacobs died in Tikrit, Iraq, of injuries sustained in Aaliyah on
October 6, 2004 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol vehicle. He was assigned to the 1st
Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on October 7, 2004.

Capt. William W. Jacobsen, Jr., 31, of Charlotte, North Carolina. Jacobsen died in Mosul, Iraq, when a suicide bomber
entered his dining facility and detonated an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 24th
Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, Washington. Died on
December 21, 2004.

CW2 Scott Jamar, 32, of Sweetwater, Texas. Killed when his UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed in central Iraq. He
was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Died on April 2, 2003.

Sgt. Lindsey T. James, 23, of Urbana, Missouri. James died in Baghdad, Iraq, from injuries sustained when an
improvised explosive device detonated near his dismounted patrol. He was assigned to the 2d Battalion, 14th Infantry
Regiment, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, New York. Died on January 29, 2005.

2nd Lt. Luke S. James, 24, of Hooker, Oklahoma. James was killed in an improvised explosive device attack near
Iskandariyah. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 505th Infantry, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on January 27, 2004.

Spc. William A. Jeffries, 39, of Evansville, Indiana. Evacuated from Kuwait and died as a result of a sudden illness in
Rota, Spain. He was assigned to National Guard Unit D Company, 1st Battalion, 152nd Infantry Regiment, Washington,
Indiana. Died on March 31, 2003.

Sgt. Troy David Jenkins, 25, of Ridgecrest, California. Died of Wounds received in action. On April 19, Sgt. Jenkins
was on a dismounted patrol with other soldiers when he was injured as result of an explosion. He was assigned to B
Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on April 24, 2003.

Spc. Darius T. Jennings, 22, of Cordova, South Carolina. Jennings was onboard a CH-47 Chinook helicopter when it
went down in Al Fallujah, Iraq. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time and an investigation is underway.
Jennings was assigned to 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on November 2,
2003.

Sgt. Linda C. Jimenez, 39, of Brooklyn, New York. Jimenez died at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington
D.C. On October 31, 2003, Jimenez fell and was injured. She was taken to the 28th Combat Support Hospital and later
evacuated to Landstuhl Army Regional Medical Center. Subsequently, she was moved to WRAMC where she later died.
Jimenez was assigned to the 2nd Squadron Combat Support Aviation (Maintenance), 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment,
Fort Polk, Louisiana. Died on November 8, 2003.

Sgt. Andrew R. Jodon, 27, of Karthaus, Pennsylvania. Jodon died in Samarra, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device detonated near his military vehicle. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Infantry
Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on May 12, 2005.

Capt. Christopher B. Johnson, 29, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Johnson died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his OH-58D
helicopter apparently collided with another OH-58D helicopter and crashed. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 25th
Aviation, 25th Infantry Division (Light), Wheeler Army Air Field, Hawaii. Died on October 16, 2004.

Spc. David W. Johnson, 37, of Portland, Oregon. Johnson died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device detonated near his convoy vehicle. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry
Regiment, Cottage Grove, Oregon. Died on September 25, 2004.

Pfc. Howard Johnson II, 21, of Mobile, Alabama. Killed when ambushed by enemy forces in Iraq. He was assigned to
the 507th Ordnance Maintenance Company, Fort Bliss, Texas. Died on March 23, 2003.

Spc. John P. Johnson, 24, of Houston, Texas. Johnson died of non-combat related injuries in Baghdad, Iraq. He was
assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany. Died on October 22,
2003.

CWO Philip A. Johnson, Jr., 31, of Alabama. Johnson was a crew member onboard a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter
when it crashed near Fallujah, Iraq while on a MEDEVAC mission. He was assigned to the 571st Medical Company (Air
Ambulance), Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on January 8, 2004.

Spc. Justin W. Johnson, 22, of Rome, Georgia. Johnson died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his patrol vehicle hit an
improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division,
Fort Hood, Texas. Died on April 10, 2004.

Pfc. Markus J. Johnson, 20, of Springfield, Massachusetts. Johnson died in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, when an Avenger
rolled over. He was assigned to D Battery, 4th Battalion, 3rd Air Defense Artillery, 1st Infantry Division, Kitzingen,
Germany. Died on June 1, 2004.

Spc. Maurice J. Johnson, 21, of Levittown, Pennsylvania. Johnson was riding in a HMMWV when he was hit with an
improvised explosive device in Mosul, Iraq. Johnson was assigned to C Company, 501st Signal Battalion, 101st Airborne
Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 1, 2003.

Spc. Nathaniel H. Johnson, 22, of Augusta, Georgia. Johnson was onboard a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter when it
crashed near Fallujah, Iraq while on a MEDEVAC mission. He was assigned to Company D (Aviation), 82nd Support
Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on January 8, 2004.

Staff Sgt. Paul J. Johnson, 29, of Calumet, Michigan. Johnson was on a mounted patrol in Al Fallujah, Iraq when the
vehicle he was riding in hit an improvised explosive device and later came under small arms fire by enemy forces. He
was assigned to 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Died on October 20, 2003.

Pfc. Rayshawn S. Johnson, 20, of Brooklyn, New York. Johnson was on patrol in Tikrit, Iraq when his vehicle hit a

CWO Charles S. Jones, 34, of Lawtey, Florida. Jones died in Baghdad, Iraq, in a helicopter accident. He was assigned
to the 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on January 28, 2005.

Pvt. Devon D. Jones, 19, of San Diego, California. Killed when his vehicle fell into a ravine. He was assigned to the
41st Field Artillery Regiment, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on April 4, 2003.

Capt. Gussie M. Jones, 41, of Louisiana. Jones died in Baghdad, Iraq, as a result of a non-combat cause. As medical
surgical nurse in support of area operations, Jones was assigned to the 31st Combat Support Hospital, Fort Bliss,
Texas. Died on March 7, 2004.

Staff Sgt. Raymond E. Jones, Jr., 31, of Gainesville, Florida. Jones died in Bayji, Iraq when a rocket-propelled
grenade struck him while on patrol. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery, 1st Infantry Division,
Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on April 9, 2004.

Sgt. 1st Class Michael D. Jones, 43, of Unity, Maine. Jones died in Syracuse, New York, of a non-combat related
illness. He had just returned from duty in Iraq. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 133rd Engineer Battalion,
Belfast, Maine. Died on March 3, 2005.

Spc. Rodney A. Jones, 21, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jones died in Baghdad, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne
improvised explosive device exploded near his dismounted patrol. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry
Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on September 30, 2004.

Sgt. Jason D. Jordan, 24, of Elba, Alabama. Jordan was patrolling a village in Tallifar, Iraq when the vehicle was
ambushed by RPGs. Jordan was assigned to Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 1-187 Infantry Battalion, Fort
Campbell, Kentucky. Died on July 20, 2003.

Sgt. Curt E. Jordan, Jr., 25, of Green Acres, Washington. Jordan died of non-combat injuries near Bayji, Iraq. He was
assigned to the 14th Combat Engineer Battalion (Corps) (Wheeled), 555th Combat Engineer Group, Fort Lewis,
Washington. Died on December 28, 2003.

Cpl. Forest J. Jostes, 22, of Albion, Illinois. Jostes died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his unit was attacked with
rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st
Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on April 4, 2004.
