Spc. Edgar P. Daclan, Jr., 24, of Cypress, California. Daclan died in Balad, Iraq, when his patrol was responding to
indirect fire and an improvised explosive device exploded. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry, 1st
Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on September 10, 2004.

Pfc. Anthony D. Dagostino, 20, of Waterbury, Connecticut. Dagostino was on board a CH-47 Chinook Helicopter when
it went down in Al Fallujah, Iraq. The cause of the incident is unknown and an investigation is underway. He was
assigned to the 16th Signal Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on November 2, 2003.

Capt. Nathan S. Dalley, 27, of Kaysville, Utah. Dalley died from a non-hostile gunshot wound in Baghdad, Iraq. He was
assigned to the 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany. Died on November 17, 2003.

Spc. Danny B. Daniels II, 23, of Varney, West Virginia. Daniels died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his patrol vehicle came
under attack by small arms fire and hit an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to 630th Military Police
Company, 793rd Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, Bamberg, Germany. Died on July 20, 2004.

Pfc. Torey J. Dantzler, 22, of Columbia, Louisiana. Dantzler died in Samarra, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device detonated on the side of the road near his convoy vehicle. He was assigned to the 66th Transportation
Company, Kaiserslautern, Germany. Died on July 22, 2004.

Pfc. Norman Darling, 29, of Middleboro, Massachusetts. Darling died in Baghdad, Iraq, when a vehicle approached his
unit and the driver detonated a bomb. He was assigned to 4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored
Division, Baumholder, Germany. Died on April 29, 2004.

Spc. Shawn M. Davies, 22, of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. Davies died in Baghdad, Iraq, of a non-combat related illness.
He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division Regiment, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on
July 8, 2004.

Pvt. Brandon L. Davis, 20, of Cumberland, Maryland. Davis died in Habbaniyah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device hit his armored personnel carrier. He was assigned to the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry
Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. Died on March 31, 2004.

Staff Sgt. Craig Davis, 37, of Opelousas, Louisiana. Davis was onboard a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter when it crashed
near Fallujah, Iraq while on a MEDEVAC mission. He was assigned to the 603rd Transportation Company, 142nd Corps
Support Battalion, Fort Polk, Louisiana. Died on January 8, 2004.

Spc. Daryl A. Davis, 20, of Orlando, Florida. Davis died in Iraq when his HMMWV was involved in a traffic accident. He
was assigned to the Army National Guard's 144th Transportation Company, Marianna, Florida. Died on November 29,
2004.

Staff Sgt. Donald N. Davis, 42, of Saginaw, Michigan. Davis died in Fallujah, Iraq, when his military vehicle rolled over
an embankment. He was assigned to the U.S. Army Reserve's 660th Transportation Company, Zanesville, Ohio. Died on
August 24, 2004.

Sgt. Anthony J. Davis, Jr., 22, of Long Beach, California. Davis died in Mosul, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised
explosive device detonated near his Stryker military vehicle. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry
Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, Washington. Died on April 23,
2005.

Staff Sgt. Kevin D. Davis, 41, of Lebanon, Oregon. Davis died in Balad, Iraq, of injuries sustained when an improvised
explosive device detonated near his HMMWV in Hawijah, Iraq. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's G Troop,
82nd Cavalry, Redmond, Oregon. Died on April 8, 2005.

Spc. Raphael S. Davis, 24, of Tutwiler, Mississippi. Davis died of injuries suffered when his vehicle was hit by an
improvised explosive device in Tampa, Iraq. He was assigned to C Company, 223rd Engineer Battalion, Army National
Guard, based in Calhoun City, Mississippi. Died on December 2, 2003.

Staff Sgt. Wilbert Davis, 40, of Hinesville, Georgia. Died in Iraq when his vehicle ran off the road into a canal. He was
assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on April 3, 2003.

Staff Sgt. David F. Day, 25, of Saint Louis Park, Minnesota. Day died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device detonated as he was exiting his military vehicle after it had rolled over. He was assigned to the Army National
Guard's 1st Battalion, 151st Field Artillery, 34th Infantry Division, Montevideo, Minnesota. Died on February 21, 2005.

Staff Sgt. Jeffrey F. Dayton, 27, of Caledonia, Mississippi. Dayton died in Baghdad, Iraq, when a vehicle approached
his unit and the driver detonated a bomb. He was assigned to 4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored
Division, Baumholder, Germany. Died on April 29, 2004.

Spc. Lauro G. DeLeon, Jr., 20, of Floresville, Texas. DeLeon died in Balad, Iraq, when improvised explosive devices
detonated near his convoy. He was assigned to the Army Reserve's 644th Transportation Company, Beaumont, Texas.
Died on September 8, 2004.

Pfc. Darren A. Deblanc, 20, of Evansville, Indiana. Deblanc died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device detonated near his dismounted patrol. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade
Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, New York. Died on April 29, 2005.

Spc. Michael S. Deem, 35, of Rockledge, Florida. Deem died in Baghdad, Iraq, from non-combat related injuries. He
was assigned to Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on February 24, 2005.

Pvt. Jason L. Deibler, 20, of Hampton, Virginia. Killed by a non-combat weapon discharge in Kuwait. Deibler was
assigned to 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, based at Smith Barracks, Baumholder, Germany. Died on May 4, 2003.

Sgt. Felix M. Delgreco, 22, of Simsbury, Connecticut. Delgreco died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
devise and small arms fire struck his mounted patrol. He was assigned the Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 102nd
Infantry, New Haven, Connecticut. Died on April 9, 2004.

Sgt. Jacob H. Demand, 29, of Palouse, Washington. Demand died in Mosul, Iraq, when his patrol was attacked by
enemy forces. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, Fort Lewis, Washington. Died on
September 14, 2004.

Staff Sgt. Mike A. Dennie, 31, of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Dennie died in Balad, Iraq, from injuries sustained on
September 22, 2004 in Baghdad, Iraq, when the driver of his military vehicle pulled off the road and lost control, causing
it to roll over. He was assigned to the 106th Finance Battalion, Kitzingen, Germany. Died on September 29, 2004.

Spc. Darryl T. Dent, 21, of Washington, D.C. Dent was in a convoy when an improvised explosive device struck his
vehicle in Southeast Arimadi, Iraq. Dent was assigned to the 547th Transportation Company, U.S. Army National Guard,
based in Washington, D.C. Died on August 26, 2003.

Pvt. Cory R. Depew, 21, of Beech Grove, Indiana. Depew died in Mosul, Iraq, when his Stryker military vehicle was
struck by a rocket-propelled grenade. He was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th
Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, Washington. Died on January 4, 2005.

Pfc. Ervin Dervishi, 21, of Fort Worth, Texas. Dervishi died in Baji, Iraq, during a combat patrol when a
rocket-propelled grenade hit the Bradley Fighting Vehicle in which he was traveling. He was evacuated to the 28th
Combat Support Hospital where he later died. Dervishi was assigned the Company B, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry
Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on January 24, 2004.

Spc. Daniel A. Desens, 20, of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Desens died in Baqubah, Iraq when his Bradley Fighting
Vehicle came under attack by enemy forces using small arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades. He was assigned to
the Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 120th Infantry, Jacksonville, North Carolina. Died on June 24, 2004.

Pfc. Michael R. Deuel, 21, of Nemo, South Dakota. Deuel received fatal gun shot wounds while on guard duty at a
propane distribution center in Baghdad, Iraq. He was assigned to Company B, 2nd Battalion, 325th Infantry Regiment,
82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on June 18, 2003.

Pvt. Michael J. Deutsch, 21, of Dubuque, Iowa. Deutsch was in a vehicle that was struck by an explosive device in
Baghdad, Iraq. Deutsch was assigned to 1st Squadron, 1st Armored Cavalry Regiment, Armstrong Barracks, Germany.
Died on July 31, 2003.

Sgt. Michael A. DiRaimondo, 22, of Simi Valley, California. DiRaimondo was a crew member onboard a UH-60
Blackhawk helicopter when it crashed near Fallujah, Iraq while on a MEDEVAC mission. He was assigned to the 571st
Medical Company (Air Ambulance), Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on January 8, 2004.

Spc. Sergio R. Diazvarela, 21, of Lomita, California. Diazvarela died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device detonated near his dismounted patrol. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade
Combat Team, Camp Howze, Korea. Died on November 24, 2004.

Cpl. Tyler J. Dickens, 20, of Columbus, Georgia. Dickens died at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas,
of injuries sustained April 6, 2005 in Al Mahmudiyah, Iraq, when his guard tower caught fire. He was assigned to the 2nd
Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Irwin, California. Died on April 12, 2005.

Spc. Jeremiah J. Digiovanni, 21, of Tylertown, Mississippi. Digiovanni died when two 101st Airborne Division (Air
Assault) UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters crashed in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation
Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 15, 2003.

Staff Sgt. Christopher W. Dill, 32, of Tonawanda, New York. Dill died in Balad Ruz, Iraq, when his patrol was attacked
by enemy forces using small arms fire. He was assigned to the Army Reserve's 2nd Battalion, 390th Infantry Regiment,
2nd Brigade, 98th Division, Buffalo, New York. Died on April 4, 2005.

Sgt. Catalin D. Dima, 36, of White Lake, New York. Dima died in Baghdad, Iraq, when enemy mortar fire landed near
his position. He was assigned to the Army Reserve's 411th Engineer Brigade, New Windsor, New York. Died on
November 13, 2004.

Spc. Jeremy M. Dimaranan, 29, of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Dimaranan died in Balad, Iraq, during a mortar attack
when mortar rounds hit his camp. He was assigned to the Army Reserve's 302nd Transportation Company, 172nd
Combat Support Group, Fort Eustis, Virginia. Died on June 16, 2004.

Spc. Anthony J. Dixon, 20, of Lindenwold, New Jersey. Dixon died in Samarra, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device exploded near his guard post. He was assigned to 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt,
Germany. Died on August 1, 2004.

Spc. Thomas K. Doerflinger, 20, of Silver Spring, Maryland. Doerflinger died in Mosul, Iraq, when his unit received
small arms fire while conducting combat operations. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 1st
Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, Washington. Died on November 11, 2004.

Spc. Ryan E. Doltz, 26, of Mine Hill, New Jersey.
Doltz died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his vehicle hit an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the Army National
Guard's Battery B, 3rd Battalion, 112th Field Artillery, Lawrence, New Jersey. Died on June 5, 2004.

Staff Sgt. Micheal E. Dooley, 23, of Pulaski, Virginia. Dooley was manning a traffic control point in Al Asad, Iraq when
a vehicle came up to the checkpoint and two individuals got out requesting a medic for their sick friend. Immediately
following the request for help, they opened fire on Dooley which resulted in his death. Dooley was assigned to 1st
Squadron, B Troop, 4th Platoon, 3rd Armor Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on June 8, 2003.

CWO Patrick Dorff, 32, of Minnesota. Dorff's helicopter went down in the Tigris River during a search after four
soldiers' watercraft capsized. His remains were recovered on January 29. Dorff was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th
Aviation (Fort Drum); however, in support of mission requirements, he was attached to the 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry,
10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York. Died on January 25, 2004.

Spc. Thomas J. Dostie, 20, of Sommerville, Maine. Dostie died in Mosul, Iraq, when a suicide bomber entered his
dining facility and detonated an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 133rd
Engineer Battalion, Portland, Maine. Died on December 21, 2004.

1st Sgt. Robert J. Dowdy, 38, of Cleveland, Ohio. Killed in action after his convoy was ambushed in Iraq on March 23,
2003. He was assigned to the 507th Maintenance Company, Fort Bliss, Texas.

Pfc. Stephen P. Downing II, 30, of Burkesville, Kentucky. Downing died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, from small arms fire while
conducting combat operations. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 17th Field Artillery, Camp Hovey, Korea. Died on
October 28, 2004.

Spc. Chad H. Drake, 23, of Garland, Texas. Drake died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his patrol vehicle came under attack by
enemy forces using small arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort
Hood, Texas. Died on September 7, 2004.

Pfc. Jeremy L. Drexler, 23, of Topeka, Kansas. Drexler died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his convoy vehicle hit an
improvised explosive device. He was assigned to 91st Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died
on May 2, 2004.

Spc. Robert L. DuSang, 24, of Mandeville, Louisiana. DuSang died in Navstar, Iraq, when a tire on the 5-ton vehicle in
which he was riding blew out and the vehicle overturned. He was assigned to 1st Squadron, 2nd Armored Cavalry
Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana. Died on June 30, 2004.

Spc. Christopher M. Duffy, 26, of Brick, New Jersey. Duffy died in Baghdad, Iraq, when individuals using improvised
explosive devices and rocket-propelled grenades attacked his convoy. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's
3rd Battalion, 112th Field Artillery, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Died on June 4, 2004.

Staff Sgt. Joe L. Dunigan, Jr., 37, of Belton, Texas. Dunigan died in Fallujah, Iraq, when his vehicle was hit by an
improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley,
Kansas. Died on March 11, 2004.

Spc. William D. Dusenbery, 30, of Fairview Heights, Illinois. Dusenbery died when two 101st Airborne Division (Air
Assault) UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters crashed in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation
Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 15, 2003.

2nd Lt. Seth J. Dvorin, 24, of East Brunswick, New Jersey. Dvorin died in Iskandariyah, Iraq, when an improvised
explosive device (IED) exploded while he was conducting counter-IED operations along a supply route. Dvorin was
assigned to Battery B, 3rd Battalion, 62nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment, Fort Drum, New York. Died on February 3,
2004
