Pfc. Colby M. Farnan, 22, of Weston, Missouri. Farnan died in Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device
detonated while he was on dismounted patrol. He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 1st Field Artillery, Fort Riley,
Kansas. Died on February 25, 2005.
Spc. Huey P. L. Fassbender, 24, of LaPlace, Louisiana. Fassbender died in Baghdad, Iraq when an improvised
explosive device struck his Bradley fighting vehicle. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 256th Infantry
Brigade (Mechanized), Lafayette, Louisiana. Died on January 6, 2005.
Command Sgt. Maj. Steven W. Faulkenburg, 45, of Huntingburg, Indiana. Faulkenburg died in Fallujah, Iraq, when
he came under small arms fire while conducting combat operations. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry
Regiment, Vilseck, Germany. Died on November 9, 2004.
Sgt. James D. Faulkner, 23, of Clarksville, Indiana. Faulkner died in Baghdad, Iraq when his military vehicle hit an
improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 20th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.

Pfc. Raymond J. Faulstich, Jr., 24, of Leonardtown, Maryland. Faulstich died in Najaf, Iraq, when individuals using
small arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades attacked his convoy. He was assigned to the 89th Transportation
Company, 6th Transportation Battalion, 7th Transportation Group, Fort Eustis, Virginia. Died on August 5, 2004.
Capt. Brian R. Faunce, 28, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Faunce was moving in a Bradley fighting vehicle in Al Asad,
Iraq when his vehicle crossed under some low laying power lines. The soldier reached up and grabbed the lines and
was fatally injured. Faunce was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, Fort
Carson, Colorado. Died on September 18, 2003.
Capt. Arthur L. Felder, 36, of Lewisville, Arkansas. Felder died in Taji, Iraq, when mortar rounds hit his camp. He was
assigned to the Army National Guard's 39th Support Battalion, 39th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Hazen,
Arkansas. Died on April 24, 2004.
Spc. Tyanna S. Felder, 22, of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Felder died in Balad, Iraq, of injuries sustained on April 4 in
Mosul when her convoy vehicle was hit with an improvised explosive device. She was assigned to 296th Brigade Support
Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Washington. Died on April 7, 2004.
Sgt. Robin V. Fell, 22, of Shreveport, Louisiana. Fell died in Baghdad, Iraq, when he was shot while conducting
dismounted combat operations. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 156th Armor Regiment,
256th Brigade Combat Team, Shreveport, Louisiana. Died on May 19, 2005.
Spc. Rian C. Ferguson, 22, of Taylors, South Carolina. Ferguson died of injuries sustained in Quinn, Iraq when he fell
from the light medium tactical vehicle in which he was a passenger. Ferguson was assigned to the Regimental Support
Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on December 14, 2003.
Master Sgt. Richard L. Ferguson, 45, of Conway, New Hampshire. Ferguson died in Somara, Iraq, when the military
vehicle he was riding in rolled over. He was assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on
March 30, 2004.
Master Sgt. George Andy Fernandez, 36, of El Paso, Texas. Killed in action in northern Iraq. He was assigned to
Headquarters, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on April 2, 2003.
Staff Sgt. Clint D. Ferrin, 31, of Picayune, Mississippi.Ferrin died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive
device struck his military vehicle. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 504th Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division,
Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on March 13, 2004.
Spc. Jon P. Fettig, 30, of Dickinson, North Dakota. Fettig was killed when the Heavy Expanded-Mobility Tactical Truck
he was in on the outside of Ar Ramadi, Iraq was hit by a rocket propelled grenade. Fettig was assigned to the 957th
Engineer Company (V Corps), Bismarck, North Dakota. Died on July 22, 2003.
Sgt. Damien T. Ficek, 26, of Pullman, Washington. Ficek died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his patrol was attacked by
enemy forces using small arms fire. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 161st Infantry
Regiment, Spokane, Washington. Died on December 30, 2004.
Sgt. Jeremy J. Fischer, 26, of Lincoln, Nebraska. Fischer died in Samarra, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device

Cavalry Regiment, Newburgh, New York. Died on December 1, 2004.
Sgt. Paul F. Fisher, 39, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Fisher was very seriously injured on November 2, 2003 in Al Fallujah,
Iraq, when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter in which he was riding went down. He died at the Homburg University Klinikum,
Homberg, Germany. Fisher was assigned to Detachment 1, Company F, 106th Aviation Battalion, Army National Guard,
based in Davenport, Iowa. Died on November 6, 2003.
Pfc. Jacob S. Fletcher, 28, of Bay Shore, New York. Fletcher was riding on a bus when an improvised explosive device
exploded in Samara, Iraq. He was assigned to Company C, 2nd Battalion (Airborne), 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd
Airborne Brigade, Camp Ederle, Italy. Died on November 13, 2003.
Pfc. Jose Ricardo Flores-Mejia, 21, of Santa Clarita, California. Flores-Mejia died in Mosul, Iraq, when an improvised
explosive device hit his convoy. He was assigned to the 25th Transportation Company, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Died
on November 16, 2004.
Spc. Thomas A. Foley III, 23, of Dresden, Tennessee. Killed in Iraq when a grenade exploded; circumstances under
continuing investigation. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, Fort Campbell,
Kentucky. Died on April 14, 2003.
Pfc. Jesus Fonseca, 19, of Marietta, Georgia. Fonseca died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised

Spc. Jason C. Ford, 21, of Bowie, Maryland. Ford died in Tikrit, Iraq, when his patrol encountered an improvised

Sgt. 1st Class Bradley C. Fox, 34, of Orlando, Florida. Fox died in Landstuhl, Germany, of injuries sustained on March
14, 2004 when his military vehicle hit an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry
Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Friedburg, Germany. Died on April 20, 2004.
Sgt. Craig S. Frank, 24, of Lincoln Park, Michigan. Frank died near Baghdad, Iraq, as a result of injuries from a
rocket-propelled grenade that struck him from behind. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 1775th Military
Police Company from Pontiac, Michigan. Died on July 17, 2004.
Capt. Stephen W. Frank, 29, of Michigan. Frank died in Diyarah, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive
device detonated as he was conducting a traffic control point inspection. He was assigned to 2nd Squadron, 11th
Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Irwin, California. Died on April 29, 2005.
Staff Sgt. Bobby C. Franklin, 38, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia. Franklin died in Baghdad, Iraq of injuries sustained by an
improvised explosive device. Franklin was assigned to the 210th Military Police Company, U.S. Army National Guard,
Murphy North Carolina. Died on August 20, 2003.
Pfc. Michael W. Franklin, 22, of Coudersport, Pennsylvania. Franklin died in Ramadi, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne
improvised explosive device detonated near his screening area. He was assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd
Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Howze, Korea. Died on March 7, 2005.
Pvt. Robert L. Frantz, 19, of San Antonio, Texas. Frantz was on guard duty when a local resident threw a grenade
over the wall. Frantz died of his injuries in Baghdad, Iraq. He was assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry
Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Ray Barracks, Germany. Died on June 17, 2003.
Pvt. Benjamin L. Freeman, 19, of Valdosta, Georgia. Freeman drowned near Al Asad, Iraq. Soldiers from his unit had
been searching for Freeman when they discovered him floating on the surface of the water near Haditha dam. Attempts
made to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. Freeman was assigned to K Troop, 3rd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry
Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on October 13, 2003.
Spc. Bryan L. Freeman, 31, of Lumberton, New Jersey. Freeman died in Baghdad, Iraq, from wounds sustained earlier
that day when he came under small arms fire while conducting a vehicle search. He was assigned to the 443rd Civil
Affairs, Battalion, U.S. Army Reserve, Warwick, Rhode Island. Died on November 8, 2004.
Sgt. Armand L. Frickey, 20, of Houma, Louisiana. Frickey died in Baghdad, Iraq when an improvised explosive device
struck his Bradley fighting vehicle. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized),
Houma, Louisiana. Died on January 6, 2005.
Sgt. David T. Friedrich, 26, of Hammond, New York. Friedrich was killed in a mortar attack in Abu Gareeb, Iraq. He was

Spc. Luke P. Frist, 20, of West Lafayette, Indiana. Frist was part of a convoy that was struck with an improvised

Pfc. Nichole M. Frye, 19, of Lena, Wisconsin. Frye died in Baqubah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device struck
