Pvt. Jesse M. Halling, 19, of Indianapolis, Indiana. Halling received a fatal gunshot wound at a military police station
when his section received rifle propelled grenade and small arms fire. Halling was assigned to 401st Military Police

CW4 Erik A. Halvorsen, 40, of Bennington, Vermont. Killed when his UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed in central
Iraq. He was assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized),
Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Died on April 2, 2003.
Capt. Kimberly N. Hampton, 27, of Easley, South Carolina. Hampton was the pilot on a OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, Armed
Reconniasiance Helicopter when it was shot down by enemy ground fire. She was Troop Commander of Delta Troop, 1st
Squadron 17th U.S. Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on January 2, 2004.
Sgt. Michael S. Hancock, 29, of Yreka, California. Hancock was shot while on guard duty in Mosul, Iraq. He was
assigned to 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on October 24, 2003.
Sgt. Warren S. Hansen, 36, of Clintonville, Wisconsin. Hansen died when two 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)

Sgt. Atanacio Haro-Marin, 27, of Baldwin Park, California. Haro-Marin was manning a checkpoint south of Balad, Iraq
when his unit came under enemy fire from rocket propelled grenades and small arms. Haro-Marin was assigned to
Battery C, 3rd Battalion, 16th Field Artillery Regiment, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on June 3, 2003.
Pfc. Adam J. Harris, 21, of Abilene, Texas. Harris died in Mosul, Iraq, when he was shot by a sniper while on patrol. He
was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Washington. Died on September
22, 2004.
Sgt. Kenneth W. Harris, Jr., 23, of Charlotte, Tennessee. Harris was fatally injured in a two-vehicle accident while
driving south on the main supply route in Scania, Iraq. Harris was assigned to the 212th Transportation Company, U.S.

Pfc. Torry D. Harris, 21, of Chicago, Illinois. Harris died in Tikrit, Iraq, of non-combat related injuries. He was assigned

Pfc. Leroy Harris-Kelly, 20, of Azusa, California. Harris-Kelly died north of Tallil, Iraq, when his truck went off the road

Pfc. George D. Harrison, 22, of Knoxville, Tennessee. Harrison died in Mosul, Iraq, when his HMMWV was attacked by

Sgt. Jeremiah Jay Holmes, 27, of North Berwick, Maine. Holmes died near Balad, Iraq, when his vehicle hit an
improvised explosive device and fell from a bridge. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 744th Transportation
Company, Hillsboro, New Hampshire. Died on March 29, 2004.
Master Sgt. Kelly L. Hornbeck, 36, of Fort Worth, Texas. Hornbeck sustained injuries on January 16 when an
improvised explosive device hit his vehicle, south of Samarra, Iraq. He was initially evacuated to the 21st Combat
Support Hospital and then moved to the 28th CSH for further treatment where he later died. Hornbeck was assigned to
Company C, 3rd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on January 18, 2004.
Staff Sgt. Jeremy R. Horton, 24, of Erie, Pennsylvania. Horton died near Al Iskandariyah, Iraq when an improvised
explosive device exploded. He was assigned to Company B, 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division,
Baumholder, Germany. Died on May 21, 2004.
Capt. Andrew R. Houghton, 25, of Houston, Texas. Houghton died at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in

Sgt. Eric R. Hull, 23, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Hull was in a military vehicle returning from the airport when his
vehicle hit an improvised explosive device in Baghdad, Iraq. Hull was assigned to the 307th Military Police Company,
U.S. Army Reserves, New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Died on August 18, 2003.
Pfc. Isaiah R. Hunt, 20, of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Hunt died in Baghdad, Iraq, when the driver of his military vehicle
accidentally struck another vehicle. He was assigned to the 782nd Main Support Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort
Bragg, North Carolina. Died on November 15, 2004.
Spc. Simeon Hunte, 23, of Newark, New Jersey. Hunte was on patrol in Al Khadra, Iraq when an Iraqi citizen
approached and shot him. Hunte was assigned to 1st Battalion, 13th Armored Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st
Armored Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. Died on October 1, 2003.
1st Lt. Joshua C. Hurley, 24, of Clifton Forge, Virginia. Hurley was riding in a HMMWV when he was hit with an
improvised explosive device in Mosul, Iraq. Hurley was assigned to the 326th Engineer Battalion, 101st Airborne Division
(Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 1, 2003.
Spc. Ray J. Hutchinson, 20, of League City, Texas. Hutchinson was returning from a patrol when an improvised
explosive device hit his vehicle in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st
Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on December 7, 2003.
Pfc. Gregory P. Huxley, Jr., 19, of Forestport, New York. Killed by enemy fire in Iraq. He was assigned to B Company,
317th Engineer Battalion, Fort Benning, Georgia. Died on April 6, 2003.
