Black Hawk helicopters crashed in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery, 101st Airborne
Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 15, 2003.

Spc. Genaro Acosta, 26, of Fair Oaks, California. Acosta was on patrol when his Bradley vehicle hit and detonated two
improvised explosive devices in Taji, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 4th
Infantry Division (Mech), Fort Hood, Texas. Died on November 11, 2003.

Pfc. Steven Acosta, 19, of Calexico, California. Acosta died from a non-hostile gunshot wound in Baqubah, Iraq. He
was assigned to C Company, 3rd Battalion, 67th Armored Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on
October 26, 2003.

Capt. James F. Adamouski, 29, of Springfield, Virginia. Killed when his UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed in central
Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Died on April 2, 2003.

Pvt. Algernon Adams, 36, of Aiken, South Carolina. Adams died of non-combat related injuries at Forward Operating
Base St. Mere, Iraq. Adams was assigned to the 122nd Engineer Battalion, Army National Guard, Edgefield, South
Carolina. Died on October 28, 2003.

Sgt. Brandon E. Adams, 22, of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. Adams died at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in
Washington, D.C., of injuries sustained in Fallujah, Iraq, on February 16, 2004 when a grenade exploded as he was
clearing a house. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New
York. Died on September 19, 2004.

Spc. Clarence Adams III, 28, of Richmond, Virginia. Adams died of injuries sustained on September 6, 2004 in
Baghdad, Iraq, when his HMMWV hit an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 91st Engineer Battalion,
1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on September 7, 2004.

Sgt. Leonard W. Adams, 42, of Mooresville, North Carolina. Adams died in Camp Bucca, Iraq, of non-combat related
injuries. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 105th Military Police Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade,
Asheville, North Carolina. Died on January 24, 2005.

1st Lt. Michael R. Adams, 24, of Seattle, Washington. Adams died in Al Asad, Iraq, when the barrel of the .50 caliber
weapon mounted on his tank struck him. He was assigned to 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort
Carson, Colorado. Died on March 16, 2004.

Pfc. Michael S. Adams, 20, of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Adams was participating in a small arms fire exercise on
the range when a bullet ricocheted and ignited a fire in the building. He died in Baghdad, Iraq as a result of injuries
sustained during the fire. Adams was assigned to 1st Battalion, 35th Armor Regiment, 1st Armored Division,
Baumholder, Germany. Died on August 21, 2003.

Spc. Jamaal R. Addison, 22, of Roswell, Georgia. Killed when ambushed by enemy forces in Iraq. He was assigned to
the 507th Ordnance Maintenance Company, Fort Bliss, Texas. Died on March 23, 2003.

Capt. Tristan N. Aitken, 31, of State College, Pennsylvania. Killed in action in Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st
Battalion, 41st Field Artillery, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on April 4, 2003.

Spc. Segun Frederick Akintade, 34, of Brooklyn, New York. Akintade died in Abd Allah, Iraq, when his unit was
attacked by enemy forces using an improvised explosive device and small arms fire. He was assigned to the 2nd
Battalion, 108th Infantry Regiment, New York, New York. Died on October 28, 2004.

Spc. Azhar Ali, 27, of Flushing, New York. Ali died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated
near his military vehicle. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment,
Manhattan, New York, New York. Died on March 2, 2005.

Spc. Ronald D. Allen, Jr., 22, of Mitchell, Indiana. Allen was conducting convoy operations when he was involved in a
vehicular accident near Balad, Iraq. Allen died of his injuries. He was assigned to the 502nd Personnel Service Battalion,
43rd Area Support Group, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on August 25, 2003.

Sgt. Glenn R. Allison, 24, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Allison died during physical training in Baghdad, Iraq. He was
assigned to 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York. Died on
December 18, 2003.

Spc. Jeremy O. Allmon, 22, of Cleburne, Texas. Allmon died in Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device
detonated near his military vehicle. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division,
Fort Hood, Texas. Died on February 6, 2005.

Capt. Eric L. Allton, 34, of Houston, Texas. Allton died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when he was struck by a mortar round. He
was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 17th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Hovey, Korea. Died on
September 26, 2004.

Pfc. John D. Amos II, 22, of Valparaiso, Indiana. Amos died in Kirkuk, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device hit his
military vehicle. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division (Light), Schofield
Barracks, Hawaii. Died on April 4, 2004.

Pfc. Danny L. Anderson, 29, of Corpus Christi, Texas. Anderson died in Baghdad, Iraq, from injuries sustained from
small arms fire. Anderson was assigned to 26th Forward Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort
Stewart, Georgia. Died on February 27, 2005.

Pfc. Travis W. Anderson, 28, of Hooper, Colorado. Anderson died in Bayji, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised
explosive device detonated near his convoy. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade,
3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on May 13, 2005.

Spc. Michael Andrade, 28, of Bristol, Rhode Island. Andrade was a passenger in a HMMWV when a 5-ton truck struck
the side of his vehicle in Balad, Iraq. He died of injuries sustained in the accident. Andrade was assigned to the 169th
Military Police Company, U.S. Army National Guard, of Warren, Rhode Island, attached to the 115th Military Police
Company. Died on September 24, 2003.

Spc. Yoe M. Aneiros, 20, of Newark, New Jersey. Aneiros died in Sadr City when his patrol vehicle came under attack
by enemy forces using rocket-propelled grenades. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 70th Armor, 3rd Brigade, 1st
Armored Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. Died on September 7, 2004.

Spc. Edward J. Anguiano, 24, of Brownsville, Texas. Spc. Anguiano was in a six-vehicle convoy on Highway 7 in Iraq
when enemy forces ambushed them on March 23, 2003. His remains were recovered on April 24, 2003. Anguiano was
assigned to 3rd Forward Support Battalion, Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Pfc. Michael A. Arciola, 20, of Elmsford, New York. Arciola died in Al Ramadi, Iraq, from injuries sustained from enemy
small arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 503d Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Casey,
Korea. Died on February 15, 2005.

Spc. Richard Arriaga, 20, of Ganado, Texas. Arriaga was killed in an ambush by small arms fire and rocket propelled
grenade in Tikrit, Iraq. He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 4th Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery
Regiment, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on September 18, 2003.

Spc. Robert R. Arsiaga, 25, of Midland, Texas. Arsiaga died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his unit was attacked with
rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry
Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on April 4, 2004.

Sgt. Evan Asa Ashcraft, 24, of West Hills, California. Killed north of Al Hawd, Iraq, when his military convoy came under
enemy fire. Ashcraft was assigned to the Company A, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division, Fort
Campbell, Kentucky. Died on July 24, 2003.

Pfc. Shawn M. Atkins, 20, of Parker, Colorado. Atkins died in Baghdad, Iraq, as a result of a non-combat injury. He
was assigned to Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 4th Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Hanau, Germany.
Died on June 14, 2004.

Capt. Matthew J. August, 28, of Rhode Island. August was killed in an improvised explosive device attack in
Khalidiyah, just east of Ar Ramadi, Iraq. He was assigned to Company B, 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat
Team, 1st Infantry Division (Mech), Fort Riley, Kansas. Died on January 27, 2004.

Pfc. Lionel Ayro, 22, of Jeanerette, Louisiana. Ayro died in Mosul, Iraq, when a suicide bomber entered his dining
facility and detonated an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 73rd Engineer Company, 1st Brigade,
25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, Washington. Died on December 21, 2004.
